Welcome to amendiff. Text is diffed entirely inside this page (WebAssembly) and is never sent anywhere; the network tab stays empty while you type. Deletions appear like {this}, struck through; insertions like `this´, underlined. Only the page itself is fetched, once, over plain local HTTP — your pasted text never travels. On an untrusted network that one page-fetch could in principle be tampered with, so for confidential work save this page (Ctrl+S — it is a single self-contained HTML file) and open the saved copy directly from disk: it works fully offline, no server needed.

⚠️ Confidentiality: REMOVE or disable all spelling/grammar browser extensions (LanguageTool, Grammarly, …) before pasting confidential text. They read the paste boxes and send their contents to their own servers, bypassing everything this page does to keep text local. An extension badge or arrow appearing inside the paste boxes is the tell-tale. The browser's built-in basic spell check is fine (it stays on this machine); keep any "enhanced"/cloud spell check off too.
